Scrambled Eggs

I made an easy satiating meal using “good enough” free range eggs (1500 hens per hectare). It’s not ideal but the best eggs I can get in Woolworths (at least my local Woolworths… I’ve seen pastured eggs in more ‘upmarket’ suburbs).

Basically I use 4 eggs, a big chunk of butter, some stearic acid powder (“flakes” as it’s called — I got mine from Fire in a Bottle), a splash of cream. I don’t cook to a real recipe 😂.

The trick to scrambled eggs is apparently cook it on a low heat and keep stirring. And I read somewhere that to just scramble it over the stove. So I just put it all in the saucepan and whizz it up (using an immersion blender) and just stir it with a wooden spoon on my simmer hotplate on low…

As you can see it’s very easy to just dump it all in the same pan and then just whizz it up!

And I ate it with two small slices of sourdough with butter. I’ve made this twice and both were super satiating. And delicious.

I ate this around noon both days with only a coffee at around 9am. In the evening I’m still not hungry but I’m trying to boost my iron so have eaten a steak yesterday and will probably do the same tonight.

I've been on a health discovery journey for many years. From my own issues as well as my Mum's diagnosis with cancer as constant reminders that I need to find something that works that seems "natural" and doable!

Hi, are you losing weight and if so, do you think it’s because of eating less food overall? Has adding carbs back in helped? I’m currently carnivore, scared to give that up

I’m a hard loser. I can’t / don’t even lose on carnivore at least not after a few weeks… and then it just stopped and I started gaining. BUT the reason I am staying on TCD even though the scale is only inching down is that I’m not gaining! And I’m eating more happily… But generally I feel that my body is less fat! And my jeans and clothes feel looser. So I’m giving this a good go. I’m hoping to get Emmy type results.
How long have you been carnivore for?
